Foundation Stage Admissions

Parents who are considering sending their child to Wescott are warmly invited to come and visit the school, meet our Headteacher, Miss Hunter, and find out first hand what an inspiring place it is to learn.  Please ring the school on 0118 978 6313 to make an appointment to visit.

Wokingham Borough Council now process all school admissions so all enquiries need to be made directly to School Admissions at Wokingham Borough Council on 0118 974 6105 or www.wokingham.gov.uk/admissions. Admissions from the academic year 2013-2014 will be one intake in September. Application forms will be distributed automatically by the local authority in the Autumn before your child is due to start school and need to be back with the local authority by January.

Little Acorns Admissions

Requests for admissions to the Little Acorns Resource Unit should be made through the Special Educational Needs Department of the Local Authority (0118 974 6214)

Mid Year Transfer Admissions

Parents who may wish their child to be considered for a mid-year transfer into the school may make an appointment to look around the school with Miss Hunter. However, applications for a place at the school must be made through School Admissions at Wokingham Borough Council.

End of Key Stage One transfer to Junior School

The School has very close curricular and pastoral links with Westende Junior School which is the main feeder school. The vast majority of pupils from Wescott go to Westende Junior School, however, a small number of pupils sometimes go on to other local Junior Schools.
