Walking
Families who live within a reasonable distance, would be able to travel to school on foot and enjoy this activity that is beneficial to their health and the environment. Walking helps children concentrate better and boosts their well-being.
Ride and Stride
​To help make the journey to school safer and healthier, we have a Park and Stride scheme for those who need to drive. The two car parks on Easthampstead Road can be used as Park and Stride sites. A five minutes' walk to the school.
Cycling and Scooting
Cycling or scooting is a great way to travel to school, it's good for the health and the environment. The school has allocated bays for bicycles and scooters so you could leave them on the school's site.
Public Transport
The school is within walking distance from the train station and the bus stop in the town centre. It's a 20 min walk from the train station to the school and 10-12 minutes from the bus stop.

Modeshift Stars
Modeshift STARS is the Centre of Excellence for the delivery of Effective Travel Plans in Education, Business and Community settings. The STARS Education scheme recognises schools and other educational establishments that have shown excellence in supporting cycling, walking and other forms of sustainable and active travel.

Launched in 2008, the STARS Education scheme is supported by the Department for Transport and has seen over 1,400 schools in England achieve accreditation since its inception. In the Autumn and Spring of each year, schools, local authorities and key partners come together for the National STARS School Travel Awards which recognise the outstanding schools from each local authority.
